Beginners will learn the basics of capoeira music on the pandeiro (tambourine), atabaque (drum), and berimbau (stringed bow instrument). Once you have started to build a foundation in capoeira music, you will progress into learning all different types of rhythms from Brazilian culture, ranging from popular Brazilian beats to folkloric music from northeastern Brazil. You will have fun gaining experience on a wide range of percussion instruments, including the agogo bell and surdo drums.
